Diabetes
Donations are currently organized by Jim Bond (204), Linda Comeau (208) and Shirley Alward (404). There were complaints about all the garbage bags in the front entrance for days on end. We will approach all three and recommend that they ensure that the Diabetes Foundation is contacted for a day of pickup and keep the garbage bags in their units until the scheduled pickup date.

How does a request for an estoppel report get put together
We are hoping to direct all requests through our on-line form. There they will fill out the form and select estoppel report as the request type. Currently our Treasurer takes the request and provides the lawyer that is requesting an estoppel report, a Financial Statement and an estopple report which is put together by our accountant (Meg Lambert). What is a estopple report

ESTOPPEL CERTIFICATE. Any certificate issued by the Corporation to a mortgagee, purchaser, or other person dealing with an owner, to certify an owner’s position with regard to assessments, contributions or otherwise, which has been signed by two officers of the Corporation and all other owners and it and they shall be estopped from denying the accuracy of such certificate against any such mortgagee, purchaser or other person dealing with the owner; but this shall not prevent the enforcement against the owner of all obligations of the owner whether improperly stated in such estoppel certificate or not.

Recyclables
Currently recycled bottle/cans are deposited in the large black bin at the back doors of the building. Joyce Hopkins currently collects them and places them in the outside storage area. When many bottles have accumulated, she will drive them to a depot to collect the money. The money is then brought to the keeper of the funds (Wayne & Helen Lovett - Unit 203). These funds are used for events like the Christmas party or BBQ's if planned.

Kidde Smoke Detector Manual

NOTE ** If you need to do a reset of the smoke detector then

1) Unplug the smoke detector,
2) Take the battery out,
3) Hold the middle button for 15 seconds.
4) Reinsert battery.
3) Reinstall smoke detector. (Press the test button to ensure it works)
